Day 01: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport – 55kms/1hr
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by an Off The Beaten Path Safaris
representative and transferred to a hotel in Arusha for your overnight stay.

Day 02: Tarangire National Park 195kms/4hrs
Drive to Tarangire National Park, proceeding with an afternoon game drive in the park. Tarangire is best
known for its elephant families, savannah, iconic baobab trees, seasonal swamps, and the life-giving Tarangire
River. Animals gather at the river and giraffes; bushbuck and hartebeest are often seen. The park is also home
to buffalo, zebra, and wildebeest. These animals are closely followed by predators such as lions and leopards
and rarely cheetahs.

Day 03 : Ngorongoro Crater tour – 40kms/30mins
Be sure to wake up early today, so there is no delay on your descent into the famous Ngorongoro Crater. As
soon as you arrive in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will be amazed by the beauty around you. Even
more so when you arrive at the edge of the crater and take in the amazing view over one of the Natural Wonders
of the World. The crater of this inactive volcano is approximately 3 million years old, 20sq km in size, and the
largest unbroken volcanic caldera in the world. Due to its natural borders, the wildlife in the crater is amazing.
The crater is home to the Big Five and offers a good chance to spot the rare black rhino. Throw hyena, zebra,
buffalo, and elephant into the mix, and you have the perfect canvas for a pretty awesome safari experience.

Day 04: Ngorongoro – Central Serengeti National Park 145kms/3h30mins
After an early breakfast, drive to the most famous National park in the World, the Serengeti.
The park has 6,900 sq. miles (18,000 sq. km) and for most of it, the plains will stretch to the horizon defying
your senses and perception of distances. It is the home of the Great Migration and to 2 million wildebeests,
hundreds of thousands of zebras, and all kinds of antelopes. As for Big Cats and large predators, it’s the place
of choice to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, with many television scenes like the famous
river crossings having been filmed in this park.

Day 05: central Serengeti National Park
Full day in the Serengeti National Park. We are completely flexible with your preferences and this day will be
organized according to your wishes. On every day of the safari, your guide will discuss with you the best
timings for you, including the game drives and the wake-up time. For example, on this day, you could do a
morning game drive, return to the camp for lunch and relaxation and finish with an afternoon game drive, or
you could do a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch.

Day 06: central – Northern Serengeti National Park
Today we will continue our game drives in Serengeti and we will be heading north, toward the Kogatende
region. As you approach the northern part of the Serengeti, you will notice the terrain change from the usual
plain grassland to more hilly and broken terrain. The northern region offers a variety of resident games such
as zebras, topi, gazelle, buffaloes, leopards, and lions. A picnic lunch will be done during the day-long drive
itself. Based on the time of your arrival you will be able to spend a few hours by the Mara river. Arrive at your
tented lodge in the early evening for dinner and a good night’s rest.

Day 07 – Full-day Serengeti North- Migration Day
The northern Serengeti’s star attraction is the Mara River, filled with hippos and crocodiles, that cut through
the area. During this time of the year (the migration season), we will pass by the Mara River. Be amazed by
the thousands of animals crossing the river. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience! At the end of the day, return
to your lodge, for leisure, dinner, and overnight.

Day 08: Fly Serengeti to Arusha or Zanzibar
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Seronera Airstrip for your scheduled flight at 11:30 to Arusha or Zanzibar at extra costs (depending on your schedule)
